    Terms & Conditions

    If client cancel at least 7 days in advance of the scheduled departure, there is no cancellation fee. If you cancel between 3 and 6 days in advance of the scheduled departure, there is a 50% cancellation fee. If client cancel within 2 days of the scheduled departure, there is a 100% cancellation fee.

    Booking Information

    Once your booking details are submitted, we will begin processing your reservation. A 20% deposit is required at this stage. Upon receiving your payment, a booking confirmation will be sent to you within 6 hours. The remaining 80% balance must be paid before the start of tour.

    Itinerary
    Day 01 : Airport - Negambo
    • Arrive at Sri Lanka Katunayake International Airport. Warm welcome from our Ceylon Discovery Holidays representative and chauffeur at the airport & hotel proceed to Negambo.
    • Check in the hotel and relax.
    • Visit Hamilton Canal & enjoy Negambo lagoon tour, St. Mary’s Negombo Church, St. Anthony's Church Negombo, and Old Dutch Fort.
    • If time permits, visit the fishing village or next day morning.
    • Negambo is ideal for nightlife in Sri Lanka. If not tired, take a walk along the beach road.
    • Overnight stay and relax at the hotel, enjoy nightlife.
    Day 02 : Negambo - Anuradhapura
    • After breakfast, proceed to Anuradhapura.
    • On the way, visit Munneshwarm Hindu temple.
    • Evening safari at Wilpattu National Park. Watch out for wild animals, crocodiles, and peacocks.
    • Observe endemic and non-endemic birds. Wilpattu safari session will be 3-4 hours. Try spotting leopards.
    • Overnight stay and relax at the hotel.
    Day 03 : Anuradhapura – Polonnaruwa - Sigiriya
    • After breakfast, explore Anuradhapura ancient city: Isurumuniya Temple, Lovers Statue, Elephant Pond, Royal family carvings.
    • Visit Sri Maha Bodhiya, Ruwanwalisaya, Mirisawatiya, Jethawanarama, Thuparama, Lowamahapaya, Kuttampokuna, Samadhi Buddha Statue, Sathmahal Prasadaya, Guard Stone.
    • Visit sacred forest mountain and world’s largest granite statue.
    • Mihintale – visit where Arahant Mahinda preached Buddhism.
    • Visit Aukana Buddha Statue (12m tall).
    • Proceed to Polonnaruwa: museum, king’s palace, Hindu temple, Sacred Quadrangle, Nissankalatha Mandapa, Kiriwehera, Rankothwehera, Gal Vihara, Lotus Pond, Thiwanka Image House. Option to walk or cycle around town.
    • Witness sunset at Parakrama Samudra. Return to Sigiriya for an overnight stay.
    Day 04 : Sigiriya
    • Early morning climb Pidurangala Rock (~1 hr) to watch sunrise.
    • Breakfast at hotel, then traditional village experience: bullock cart ride, catamaran boat ride, cooking demonstration with Sri Lankan lunch.
    • Visit Sigiriya Lion Rock, UNESCO World Heritage Site, 1600-year-old rock fortress. Climb and explore ruins.
    • Overnight stay and relax at the hotel.
    Day 05 : Sigiriya - Kandy
    • After breakfast, visit Dambulla Cave Temple (Golden Temple of Dambulla) with 5 caves and statues of Buddha.
    • Spice garden visit & Ayurvedic massage.
    • Check in to hotel, visit Ceylon Gem Museum, learn handicrafts and batik.
    • Kandy Lake Walk, optional Kandyan cultural show.
    • Visit Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Dalada Maligawa).
    • Overnight stay and relax at the hotel.
    Day 06 : Kandy - Nuwara Eliya
    • Visit Royal Botanical Garden at Peradeniya.
    • Stop at Shri Bhakta Hanuman Hindu Temple, Ramboda Waterfall, tea factory & plantations (Labukale Tea Plantation).
    • Check in hotel at Nuwara Eliya, evening Gregory Lake sunset and walk in “Little England”. Visit Seetha Amman Hindu Kovil & Ashoke Wathilka.
    • Overnight stay and relax at the hotel.
    Day 07 : Nuwara Eliya - Ella
    • Tea train from Nanu Oya to Ella, enjoy scenic views. Chauffeur pick-up at Ella.
    • Overnight stay and relax at the hotel.
    Day 08 : Ella Day
    • Early morning climb Mini Adam’s Peak (~30 min) for sunrise.
    • “Flying Rawana” Mega Zipline, Demodara 9 Arch Bridge.
    • Walk to Ella Rock along railway track and tea plantation, visit Ravana Cave.
    • Overnight stay and relax at the hotel.
    Day 09 : Ella - Udawalawe
    • Visit Elephant Transit Home (“Eth Athuru Sevana”).
    • Safari in Udawalawe National Park (3-4 hrs). Watch for elephants, crocodiles, endemic and non-endemic birds, peacock dance.
    • Overnight stay and relax at the hotel.
    Day 10 : Udawalawe - Rathnapura - Sinharaja
    • Proceed to Rathnapura, visit gem mines and learn about gem industry.
    • Travel to Sinharaja Rainforest (2-3 hrs).
    • Overnight stay and relax at the hotel.
    Day 11 : Sinharaja - Mirissa
    • Guided trek through Sinharaja Rainforest, UNESCO World Heritage Site.
    • Visit Martin’s Lodge, Sinharaja Research Station.
    • Proceed to Mirissa, enjoy sunset at Coconut Tree Hill.
    • Overnight stay and relax at the hotel.
    Day 12 : Mirissa - Galle - Hikkaduwa
    • Surfing experience in Galle, witness stilt fishermen.
    • Visit Portuguese, Dutch & British colonial galleries, Archaeological museum, old post office, old library, old Dutch Church, Galle Lighthouse, UNESCO Dutch Fort.
    • Proceed to Hikkaduwa, beach walk and sunset.
    • Overnight stay and relax at the hotel.
    Day 13 : Hikkaduwa - Bentota
    • Boat ride in Madu River, visit turtle hatchery.
    • Bentota water sports: Jet Ski, Banana & Tube Boating, Diving, Snorkeling, Fishing & Deep Sea Fishing.
    • Visit Kande Viharaya Buddha Temple.
    • Beach walk and sunset. Overnight stay at hotel.
    Day 14 : Bentota - Colombo
    • Visit Galle Face Green & Old Parliament, Independence Square, Independence Arcade & drive past BMICH.
    • Gangaramaya Buddhist Temple, walk in Viharamahadevi Park, visit Jami-Ul-Alfar Masjid (Red Mosque) & Pettah Bazaar.
    • Shopping at ODEL, House of Fashion, Ceylon Tea Shops, Sri Lankan Handicrafts.
    • Overnight stay and relax at the hotel.
    Day 15 : Colombo - Airport
    • Proceed to Bandaranaike International Airport after breakfast or lunch.
    • Carry all your memories in your eyes and mind leaving Sri Lanka. End of tour.
