  • Day 01 : Ramayana Places /Jaffna

  • Day 07 : Nuwara Eliya

    ·  En-route to Nuwara Eliya you will visit Sri Baktha Hanuman Temple On these hills of Ramboda where Hanuman was searching for Sitadevi, the Chinmaya mission of Sri Lanka built a temple with Hanuman as the presiding deity (free visit)
    Visit waterfall.
    ·  Gayathri peedam temple Hindu temple and Ashoka Vatika (Gayathri peedam is believed to be the place from where king Ravana's son meganathpropitiated lord shiva with penance and pooja,s and in turn was granted super natural power by lord shiva(free visit)
    ·  Visit Seetha Amman temple there is a stream by the side of the temple it is believed that Sita Devi bathed in this stream it is interesting to note that foot prints of lord hanumans are found on the rocks along this river and some are of small size and some are of large size(free visit)

  • Day 08 : Ravana Cave/Ravana Waterfall/Kataragama

    · After wards drive to Kataragama
    · En route visit divurumpola this is the place where sitadevi underwent (Agni test) Sita reached her husband.
    · Visit ravana cave (These tunnels proved beyond doubt the architectural brilliance of king ravana.
    · After lunch visit Ella gap & Ravana waterfalls.
    · Drive to Katharagama.
    · This is the temple of lord karthikeya subramaniam at katharagama lord karthikeya was request to go to the battlefield by lord Indra on the last day of war. This was done protect lord Rama from the wrath of brahmaasthram shot by king ravana which otherwise would have weakened lord Rama.
    · Overnight stay in Katharagama.

  • Day 09 : Ussangoda/Rumassala/Bentota

    · After breakfast check out from the hotel and leave for Colombo.
    · En route visit Ussangoda and Rumassala Sanjeewani Drop.
    · Rumassalais a massive hill oddly out of place in the landscape just outside the Galle harbor. Legend details that during the Rama –Rawana war Rama’s brother Luxhmana, was injured and Hanuman was sent to the Himalayas to fetch medicinal herbs. Hanuman forgot the name of the herb but he brought a chunk of the peak containing many herbs. However, the mountain fragment slipped and broke into five pieces of which one fell to Rumassala. It should be noted that the renowned scientist Sir Arthur C. Clerk has a bungalow in the precincts of Rumassala, as it is said to be the place that has the highest specific gravity globally.
    · This is situated on the Southern Coast between Ambalantota and Tangalle.Legend: According to Ramayana, after meeting Seetha Devi Lord Hanuman decided to test the strength of the mighty King Ravana and his army of Rakshasas. In the event that unfolded Lord Hanuman’s tail was set on fire by the Rakshasas, who in turn went on to torch some parts of King Ravana’s empire. Ussangoda is one of the torched areas, which is said to have been an airport used by King Ravana.
    · Overnight stay in Bentota.

  • Day 10 : Vibeeshana Temple/Colombo shopping/Departure

    ·  After having breakfast visit Vibeeshana temple.
    · It is believed that Kelaniya is the place from where king Vibeeshana ruled after being crowned by Lakshmana as lord Rama was in exile for 14 years and could not take part in any coronation ceremony deputed his younger brother prince Lakshmana to crown Vibeeshana.
    · Visit Anjanyar temple.
    · Then you can go shopping in Colombo.
